Far beyond car storage
Classic, sports and collector cars deserve more than a place to stand. So we built them a home on Lake Starnberg, just south of Munich—ready for the road and whatever comes next.
Building on a California story that began in 1976 and never left the street, we connect aluminium skateboards and classic cars through a shared language of asphalt, movement and design.

EVERY COLLECTOR HAS A STORY. TELL US YOURS.

WELCOME TO THE PACK From collectors to a collective.
We don’t stack cars. We keep their stories moving.
The cars bring us together. The drives, late nights and stories build the rest. At Banzai Legacy Lab, people and machines keep classic car culture in motion.
Collectors, drivers, racers, artists, designers and entrepreneurs. Some arrive with a car, others with an idea. Around here, knowledge changes hands, plans take shape and introductions turn into drives, dinners, shoots or something nobody came in expecting.
The cars may start the conversation. The people decide where it goes.

BEHIND THE SCENES. AHEAD OF EVERY DRIVE.
What happens off the road shapes what happens on it. We keep every detail, handover and next step connected around the car. One point of contact. Fewer loose ends. More time driving.

A BASE BUILT FOR THE ROAD
The Banzai Legacy Lab sits on the western shore of Lake Starnberg, just southwest of Munich, quiet and discreet, yet connected to the roads that shape European car culture.
The Alps begin nearby. Austria, Switzerland and northern Italy are all within a day’s drive, making Pöcking a natural point of departure and return for mountain roads, historic racing, rallies, concours and track days across Europe. Europe arrives by road. The rest of the world comes through Munich, with Oberpfaffenhofen nearby for private aircraft.
Close enough to everything that matters. Far enough away from everything that doesn’t.

TECHNICAL CARE BY:
Eleven Munich knows classic Porsche cars from the inside out. Based at the Banzai Legacy Lab in Pöcking, the team provides specialist Porsche service, from routine maintenance and engine rebuilds to restoration, race preparation and track support. Hands on the car, every step documented, ready for the road or the next starting grid.
Innovating the past
Craft starts by hand. Technology opens another layer. High-resolution 3D scanning creates a precise digital twin of each classic car, documenting provenance, condition and every detail that matters. From there, the machine can move beyond the garage into interactive experiences, games and digital art, while the same data supports restoration and the recreation of unavailable parts. The physical car remains the original. Its digital counterpart opens new ways to preserve it, understand it and experience it.

COMMUNITY, BUILT IN.
- fuel & flow
- city lights
- unseen
- ten seats - one light
Community is not something we schedule. It is built into the place: in the roads we choose, the tables we set, the artists we invite and the conversations that keep going long after everyone planned to leave.
But built in never means closed in. We deliberately bring people, ideas and disciplines from outside the car world into the room, because a community that only talks to itself has nothing new to say.
Some moments happen at unexpected addresses in the city. Others fit around ten seats. The point is not to confirm what we already know, but to leave with something we did not bring in.
"As an architect and entrepreneur in the hospitality trade, I have always been driven by a deeply felt ambition to make people truly feel at home. And as a classic car collector and racing enthusiast, I have long understood the needs and desires of petrolheads and automotive aficionados by heart. All of this has now taken shape in the Banzai Legacy Lab, creating a legacy of its own: bringing past, present and future together in a unique home for the self-propelled."
Thomas Schlereth - Founder Banzai
"I’ve always been drawn to classic machines. Racing is in my family’s DNA, and I added my own chapters with Sorg Rennsport and SR-Motorsport. At the Legacy Lab, it’s not about looking back. It’s about keeping that pulse alive — connecting people who care, giving the cars a place where they’re understood, and building a community that feels like home for anyone with petrol in their blood."

Before we talk space, services or membership, we want to know what drives you. Every relationship starts one-to-one, with a real conversation, not a sales pitch.
